Walk to the Terminal Parking car park
Heathrow's rule: riders meet app drivers on foot in the Terminal Parking car park, reached by the covered walkway from Arrivals, with your luggage.
Someone pays the parking
Terminal Parking at T3 is £8.00 for up to 29 minutes, £12.50 for 30 to 44 minutes and £15.50 for 45 to 59 minutes, paid at the barrier. Delayed flight, bigger bill.

Heathrow Terminal 3 taxi rank and pick up point
Licensed black cabs use the rank outside the Terminal 3 Arrivals exit; their drivers have passed the Knowledge of London and the fare is metered. Pre booked minicabs and app cars are not allowed on the rank or the forecourt, so they collect from the Terminal Parking car park, reached by a covered walkway straight out of the Arrivals Hall. If a friend is collecting you, the Park & Ride car park is free for stays under 30 minutes, with a shuttle bus to the terminal doors every 15 minutes.

The Heathrow Terminal 3 drop off charge, explained
Every vehicle entering the Terminal 3 drop off zone is charged. Here is how it works and why you pay nothing extra with us.
How the charge works
Number plate cameras record every vehicle entering the T3 drop off zone. The charge is £7 per entry (it rose from £6 on 1 January 2026), with a maximum stay of around 10 minutes. There is no barrier and no machine: it is paid online or by phone by midnight the day after the visit, and each re entry is another £7.
We include it in every fixed price
Watford to Terminal 3 at £57 or St Albans at £78 already includes the £7. Our drivers handle the payment. You never see a separate charge.
Getting a lift instead?
Whoever drops you off pays the £7, and if they forget, Heathrow issues a penalty of £80 (£40 if paid within 14 days). The free alternative is the Park & Ride car park, free for under 30 minutes, with a shuttle bus to the terminal.

Route guide to Heathrow Terminal 3 (TW6 1QG)
Terminal 3 is in the central terminal area, reached from M25 Junction 15 onto the M4 spur (or Junction 14 and the northern perimeter road when the M4 spur is busy).
Heathrow Terminal 3: what to know before you travel
Terminal 3 is Heathrow's long haul terminal and the home of Virgin Atlantic, with more than 20 airlines including Delta, American Airlines, Emirates, Qantas and Cathay Pacific, plus a few British Airways routes. Opened in 1961, it was the first UK terminal with moving walkways, and it is still a long building: allow time from security to the far gates.
Terminal 3 shares Heathrow Central station with Terminal 2: the Elizabeth line, Heathrow Express (about 15 minutes to Paddington) and the Piccadilly line all stop there, a walk through the underground passageway from the terminal. From Hertfordshire every rail option means at least one change with luggage, which is why most of our passengers take a door to door car.
The Aerotel sits inside the Terminal 3 arrivals area for a very early departure, and the Bath Road hotels are a few minutes away by car. We collect from any Heathrow hotel at a fixed price.

Licensed local drivers who run Terminal 3 every day
Prime Airport Transfer is a licensed private hire operator based in Rickmansworth. Every driver holds a current private hire licence, DBS check and hire and reward insurance. We run Terminal 3 every week for Virgin Atlantic, Delta, Emirates and American passengers: we know the M4 spur approach, the drop off zone cameras, the Terminal Parking walkway and exactly where to stand in the Arrivals Hall, so long haul travellers from Hertfordshire book us again and again.
